Emissions monitoring of the Energy Centre - University of Birmingham.<br /><br />Annual Emissions testing which data is used to ensure we meet the Environmental Agency's permit to operate and the Medium Combustion Plant Directive.<br /><br />Testing to be carried out in January of 2026 and data to be returned no later than 4 weeks after so annual emissions data can be reported to the EA.<br /><br /> SCOPE OF WORK<br />Monitoring Requirements:<br />To undertake ISO 17025 and MCERTs accredited stack emissions testing as far as site conditions allow as follows:-<br />Parameter(s): <br />1. Oxides Of Nitrogen, BS EN 14792 MCERTS Accredited, 1 x 60 mins per firing.<br />2. Carbon Monoxide, BS EN 15058 MCERTS Accredited, 1 x 60 mins per firing.<br />3. Flow, BS EN 16911-1 MCERTS Accredited, Per firing.<br />4. Oxygen,BS EN 14789 MCERTS Accredited, For correction per firing.<br />5. Water Vapour, BS EN 14790 MCERTS Accredited, For correction per firing.<br /><br />This is for low, medium and high firing on all boilers(5 off) same for Gas Turbine with supplementary firing (6 procedures) and Gas engine (low, medium and high firing).<br />Sample points: A1 to A8.<br />Reference Conditions: A1 - 273K, 101.3kPa, 15% Oxygen and Dry Gas, A2 – A7 - 273K, 101.3kPa, 3% Oxygen and Dry Gas. A8 - 273K, 101.3kPa, 5% Oxygen and Dry Gas<br /><br /><br />
