Wolverhampton Homes needs to establish a formal arrangement for: 1) Skip hire provision 2) A local facility for waste tipping 3) Static skip provision on Wolverhampton Homes sites 4) Offensive and Hygiene waste service 5) Ad-hoc waste collection service The successful contractor will deliver a holistic, efficient, effective and timely waste management, skip provision, waste collection and advice service. The contracts will support the ongoing protection of public health and act as the driver for meeting WH’s legislative and financial responsibilities as well as reducing any environmental impact caused by our operations. The successful contractor will also support WH in developing any appropriate waste reduction, minimisation and recycling strategies / activities to reduce the levels of operational waste generated and the associated disposal costs. The successful contractor will also be required to explore and support the development of any added value initiatives such as income generation and or Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) related activities.
