Tender description

GD 304 Designing Health and Safety into Maintenance National Highways is looking to set up a contract for provision of Specialist Technical Consultancy Services to update the standard GD 304 Designing Health and Safety into Maintenance. The lifecycle component of whole lifecycle considerations needs to be developed to reflect actual operational experience (and cost), impact to customers and safety risk to road workers. The standard needs a broader approach to appraise different options and include designer input to maintenance options. This would also need to reflect, climate change, sustainability, and net zero in relationship to sustaining the asset through its entire lifecycle.
