Tender description

The Council has secured a contract for the preparation of a RIBA Stage 2 district heating scheme feasibility study and outline business case (concept design) for Brae, Shetland Islands. These services are required to understand the technical and economic viability, costs and options for next steps and decision making in progressing a heat network in Brae, Shetland Islands. Lot 1: The type of contract awarded is NEC3 Professional Services Contract. The conditions of the Contract are the core clauses and the clauses for the main option selected, which are detailed further in the Contact Data, all as amended and/or supplemented per the terms of the enclosed Z clauses. The procurement is a regulated procurement governed by the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016 and the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act 2014. The procedure being followed is an Open Procedure.
