Tender description
The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (“EoECPH”), acting on behalf of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Board (the “Authority”) is intending to award a contract to a sole Provider for the provision of a regional East of England 24/7 all age Crisis Text Support Service.<br/><br/>The host Contracting Authority is Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Board (ICB). <br/><br/>The services to be provided under the Contract are for the benefit of all Integrated Care Boards and Integrated Care Systems within the East of England region:<br/><br/>• NHS CAMBRIDGESHIRE AND PETERBOROUGH (C&P)<br/>• NHS NORFOLK AND WAVENEY (NWPC)<br/>• NHS SUFFOLK AND NORTH EAST ESSEX (SNEE)<br/>• NHS BEDFORDSHIRE, LUTON AND MILTON KEYNES (BLMK)<br/>• NHS HERTFORDSHIRE AND WEST ESSEX (HWE)<br/>• NHS MID AND SOUTH ESSEX (MSE) Lot 1: This notice is an intention to award a contract under the PSR competitive process.<br/><br/>The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £2,108,800 over the maximum 3 year contract duration (2+1 term).<br/><br/>The services are intended to be provided from 31/03/2026 until 30/03/2028, with an option to extend for a further 1 year period until 30/03/2029.<br/><br/>This is a new service for the East of England region. C&P ICB have an existing crisis text service provision, however this will be captured under this regional contract following this procurement process.<br/><br/>Description of Services<br/><br/>The East of England NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub (“EoECPH”), acting on behalf of Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Board (the “Authority”) is intending to award a sole Provider for the provision of a regional East of England 24/7 all age Crisis Text Support Service.<br/><br/>The Crisis Text Service should provide urgent, confidential, and accessible support via text messaging for individuals of all ages experiencing a mental health crisis. This service aims to offer timely crisis text intervention, emotional support, and appropriate referrals to further care. It provides a support tool that can be seamlessly integrated into the NHS to address mental health crises effectively to ensure people do not fall between gaps across services.
