Operation of Café Concessions at ANGUSalive Leisure Venues

ANGUSalive, the culture, sport & leisure trust for Angus , intends to publish a tender opportunity in Autumn 2025 for the operation of four café concessions within its leisure centres. This Prior Information Notice is issued for information only and does not formally commence the procurement process. Lot 1: The contract will cover the operation and management of café concessions within the following venues: . > Brechin Community Campus > Carnoustie Sports Centre > Forfar Community Campus > Montrose Sports Centre . The cafés play an important role in enhancing the visitor experience, offering healthy, affordable food and drink in welcoming spaces for families, customers and the wider community. The successful supplier will be expected to: . > Provide a consistent café service aligned with venue opening hours. > Offer menus balancing affordability with healthy, varied choices. > Support community wellbeing and sustainability objectives. . Initial contract period of three years, with the option to extend for up to two additional one-year periods (maximum five-year term). . The Invitation to Tender (ITT) is anticipated to be published via Public Contracts Scotland in October 2025, with contract commencement from December 2025. . Interested suppliers should note that, as a minimum, the appointed concessionaire must hold or obtain prior to contract commencement: . Employer’s Liability Insurance of GBP 10,000,000; and Public Liability Insurance (including Product Liability) of GBP 5,000,000. Evidence of these insurances will be required before contract award. . ANGUSalive is keen to encourage participation from local suppliers and SMEs.
