Secondary Alternative Education Provision (September 2025-August 2026) The aim of the Alternative Provision (AP) is to ensure the continued education of young people in KS 3 and 4 in a supportive, positive and good quality education environment in order to enable vulnerable pupils to achieve as well as their peers. It will cater for pupils who, because of exclusion or other reasons, would not otherwise receive a suitable fulltime education. In addition to providing education, the aim and purpose of the service is to support pupils to address any emotional and behavioural difficulties which affect their development and to help them develop emotional resilience. The AP is commissioned to provide access to a range of support interventions as needed by individual pupils in order to help pupils start to address any issues which affect their learning.
