Tender description

Sampling of imported food products at a retail level across GB to help identify and provide evidence for emerging food safety risks from imported foods. Contract broken into annual Work Packages to be agreed by FSA. Lot 1: FS430790 The Supplier will carry out specific imported food commodity sampling, transportation to labs and analytical testing for a range of residues/contaminants. The work packages are expected to be agreed annually, starting in April 2026 with each package concluding, including delivery of the draft final report before March the following year.<br/>Although it would be our intention to request work annually, there is a reliance on FSA receiving a sufficient budget to allow this to happen. The FSA cannot guarantee any work packages.
