Quick Quote - Supply of Railway Ballast 2025

Please find attached documentation for a quick quote competition to provide 2,500 T of Railway Ballast for the Isle of Man Railways, Department of Infrastructure, which shall be available from October 2025.<br /><br />The supplier shall provide 2,500 Tonnes of Railway Ballast that meets the specification below and in accordance with BS EN 13450: Aggregates for Ballast 2003. Typically crushed granite, limestone or metadolerite that is 32-50mm in size with hard, durable angular properties that is washed and clear of all fines. <br /><br />The supply of ballast shall be ready by Monday 13th October 2025 and will be required as soon as the current existing order meets its quota, as of 08/08/25 we have 249.3 Tonnes remaining. It is desirable that the supplier provide a storage facility for the ballast within the Isle of Man and have the ability to load ballast into our specified contractors’ wagon when required for our track renewals. If this is not available, deliveries to the IoM Railways depot will be acceptable.<br /><br />The attached documentation consists of:<br />- Quick Quote - Supply of Railway Ballast 2025<br />- Standard Terms and Conditions for Goods and/or Services<br /><br />The Quick Quote will remain available on the Portal for Expressions of Interest until noon (12.00 hrs) on Friday 22nd August and the deadline for submissions is noon (12.00 hrs) on Friday 29th August 2025 and your response must be submitted through the portal by this deadline. <br /><br />Once you have selected `Express Interest` a `Quote Documents` tab will appear and this is where you will find the above mentioned documents.<br /><br />After the above deadline the Portal will `Lock-Out` and no further submissions can be made.<br /><br />If your organisation does not wish to submit a response to provide these services, please select `Opt-Out` and select a reason. You can also choose to stop receiving correspondence on this screen.<br /><br />Please note, unless otherwise advised, all Quick Quote Competitions will be subject to the Isle of Man Government Standard Terms & Conditions for Goods and/or Services, a copy of which can be found under the `Supplier Information & Privacy Policies` tab.<br />
