Pontoon Power to Harbour Moorings - To continue the essential upgrade of pontoon power to Harbour moorings due t the current hardware being outdated and unsafe. Having started replacing these supplies using Rolec Services Ltd we must continue with this supplier to enable the system to work in tandem. A different supplier would not be compatible and would need the entire harbour replaced at a value in excess of £500,000.A harbour power supply provides electrical power to boats while they are docked in the Harbour. This system allows vessels to shut down their main and auxiliary engines, reducing fuel consumption and minimising environmental impact. This supply is provided by BCC.
