Chord Park Units A&B Refurbishment Works Refurbishment of office areas, including MCU evidence store to provide much needed additional workspace. These are relatively modern business park style units that have been out of use for a couple of years since the MASH and others relocated to Cambs HQ. Currently, they are not fit for purpose and are in need of some modifications. The units will also need to conform to police regulations regarding security and storing of evidence. This will support the ‘smaller, leaner, greener’ agenda by creating space in the HQ HEX for workers to occupy. The refurbishment of these units is more economical than a purchase or replacement modular buildings and much more economical and advantageous because of time and disruption of a traditional build .
