Tender description

AMRC requires a high-performance 2 SDR platform intended for use in advanced wireless communication systems, including 5G and 6G.

The SDR must support wide frequency coverage, high bandwidth, multi-channel MIMO capability, and precise synchronisation features. It should be compatible with open-source and/or commercial software stacks and support integration with standard computing platforms.

Procured SDR units will be integrated with community-driven 5G RAN frameworks (such as OpenAirInterface and srsRAN) in both laboratory and live-site environments.

In the lab, they will support development and validation of gNB protocol layers, RF parameter tuning, and performance testing under controlled channel conditions.

Link-level and system-level measurements covering throughput, latency, noise figure, and beamforming performance across FR1 and FR2 bands will be conducted to characterise end-to-end behaviour for manufacturing use cases
