AHDB is seeking a supplier to support the delivery of a decision-support tool to help farmers manage Barley Yellow Dwarf Virus (BYDV) in cereal crops. The tool, informed by successful field trials, provides guidance on BYDV risk and supports decisions on crop protection and risk-reduction measures such as sowing dates and variety choice. The aim is to make this tool widely accessible to promote more sustainable, cost-effective management of BYDV and reduce insecticide use in barley and wheat production.
