Pre-Market Engagment Business Case Psychological support and counselling services for resident doctors

NHS England is looking to engage with suppliers who can delivery psychological support and counselling services for resident doctors. It is an NHSE requirement for postgraduate deaneries to provide counselling and wellbeing services to resident doctors and dentists. Counselling and wellbeing support is critical for reducing postgraduate trainee attrition and securing the critical retention of the much-needed future workforce, in alignment with the objectives of the NHS Long Term Workforce Plan. We are seeking to replace our current delivery model with a single provider to cover the whole region to ensure trainees have equitable access to the same services, regardless of their base.
