Living Fens: Moving Fen Communities turf translocation

Tender description

We request the contractor to collect (Day 1) and transport turf blocks/strips overnight from a donor site in Norfolk to a receptor site in Lancashire. The contractor will be required to prepare the receptor, and spread turf (Day 2) at the receptor site as well. Co-ordination with ecologist under contract with Natural England who is managing wider project. Delivery window 19th August- 16th September 2024.
