Tender description
This sets out the Authority’s requirement on respect of a Locally Commissioned Public Health Service (LCPHS) for the provision of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) and/or NHS Health Checks in Nottinghamshire GP practices. It comprises of three parts. LARC Component A - Contraceptive Subdermal Implants LARC Component B - Intrauterine Contraception NHS Health Checks Options available to GPs are to sign up to one, two or all of the parts. Any combination of services is possible. Nottinghamshire County Council will offer contracts to all providers to whom an award can be made because they meet all requirements in relation to the provision of the relevant health care services to patients. This process is being carried out in accordance with the procedure for ‘Direct Award Process B’ under Regulations 6 and 8 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
