Tender description

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) wish to appoint a single contractor to carry out design, creative development, production, testing, installation and commissioning of digital media for exhibition display in both the Wrexham Museum galleries and the Football Museum of Wales galleries. Please note the media is a mix of touchscreen presentations involving text, images, film and audio, editing of archive footage, interactive games and immersive film and sound pieces. Lot 1: This contract modification is to notify an increase in the contract price to GBP 541,287.83 (all figures excluding VAT). This is to incorporate a number of unanticipated client amends and an extension of time. This additional work and the extension of time could not have been foreseen. Changing contractor in the middle of the work was unviable due to economic (switching would cause significant inconvenience and duplication of costs) and technical reasons (requirement to meet grant funder timescales). The changes do not alter the overall nature of the contract. Practical Completion is now anticipated to be reached 30th June 2026. The contract expiry date will be extended to ‘30th day of June 2027 (inclusive of the 12 months defects liability period)’.
