The University of Edinburgh is looking to engage with the market ahead of a potential procurement process for a Research Funding Opportunities platform. Lot 1: The objective of this Prior Information Notice is to obtain up to date information from the market in order to: (1) Understand current and, in development, market capabilities and solutions in relation to the functionality requirement (2) Provide the University of Edinburgh with indicative costs associated with the implementation and ongoing support of a suitable solution. At this stage it is envisaged that we will require a Research Funding Opportunities Platform with the following features - High-quality, accessible user interface - Wide-ranging content with global funding opportunities, UK content being essential. - Easy integration with the University’s single sign-on. - High-quality reporting functionality, covering the funding opportunities identified in the system and to be able to demonstrate use of and interaction with the system. Prospective suppliers who have the capacity and capability are asked to register an interest on the Public Contracts Scotland site and submit the information as requested in the attached document. It is anticipated that the University of Edinburgh will conduct the procurement exercise mid-late 2025.. A document has been attached to this notice.
