Procurement, Implementation, Training, Maintenance and Ongoing Support of a Dental Practice Management System

University of Portsmouth is seeking information from potential suppliers regarding a Dental<br />Practice Management Systems (DPMS). This Soft Market Exercise (SME) aims to gather<br />insights into the available solutions and functionality, industry best practices, indicative<br />pricing and innovative approaches before launching a formal procurement process.<br /><br />This soft market exercise ("Exercise") is intended to allow interested organisations with<br />appropriate experience to outline their views and provide impartial information to the<br />University with no commitment to themselves or the University.<br />It is not part of a formal procurement process, nor shall the University be committed to<br />carrying out such a process. The ultimate aim is to understand the strengths and weaknesses<br />of the various solutions available to the University to deliver the outcomes above.<br />The aim of the Exercise is not to select organisations with which to work, it is to better<br />understand the solutions available in the market to inform the University's strategy for<br />fulfilling their requirements. It can, however, be viewed as an opportunity for contractors to<br />become more familiar with the University and inform the University of their organisation and<br />relative services.<br />The Exercise process will consist of submission of the attached questionnaire using the<br />University's e-tendering portal as detailed in section 7.<br />Interested parties should note that they are required not to make direct contact with<br />university employees and all correspondence should be directed to the Procurement Team.<br />The University is not able to facilitate site visits as part of this exercise.<br />This is not a call for competition at this stage.
