Tender description

The City of Edinburgh Council is looking to create a new active travel map, primarily concentrating on cycle routes and facilities across the city. The supplier will work with the Council to develop a map that is both clear and easy to use. The result of the contract will be a city-wide map of active travel facilities such as segregated cycle lanes, off road cycle networks and on road quiet routes. The mapping data that is created by the successful supplier will be owned solely by the Council. This is so that when new routes and facilities are built, the maps can be easily updated by the internal personnel using a standard specification. Lot 1: The City of Edinburgh Council is looking to create a new and updated active travel map, primarily concentrating on cycle routes and facilities across the city. The successful supplier will provide mapping data and will be a qualified cartographer.
