Somerset Playing Pitch and Built Sports Facilities Needs Assessment and Strategy

Tender description

Somerset Council are looking to appoint a consultant to support them in preparing a Playing Pitch Strategy and Built Sports Facilities Strategy, a "Strategy", that assesses the needs and opportunities for playing pitches and built sport facilities for the whole of the Somerset Local Authority area. The Strategy and therefore the new evidence base will supersede each of the former district areas existing Strategies (where appliable) and is to include the creation of a delivery strategy and prioritised action plan for meeting identified need. The outputs of this work will inform and support the development of policies for the new Somerset Local Plan. This is a further competition conducted under Sports England Active Environment Framework Lot B
