SPS-02286 Meter Operator of Electricity Meters at all SPS Sites

The Scottish Prison Service (SPS) is looking for a supplier to become the meter operator of electricity meters for all SPS sites. The services shall include but not limited to; -Provision of Meter Operator Services, installation, maintenance and operation of both Half-Hourly and Non-Half-Hourly electricity meters across the Scottish Prison Service estate. The SPS requires the flexibility to add or delete sites from the contract when required. -Maintenance of metering equipment and the provision of meter operator services. The reading of electricity metering equipment and the provision of remote data collection services. -It is expected that the supplier will work in conjunction with the current Electricity Supplier to ensure the smooth and seamless transition from the existing arrangements into any new data collection system. The supplier shall provide remote meter readings as per the requirements above and will provide ongoing maintenance to all meters across the SPS estate as listed below. This will include: - Scheduled maintenance and any resulting repairs due to faults discovered as requested by establishments. - Reactive maintenance to unexpected faults, with an anticipated response time of no longer than 6 hours in respect of any request received by the supplier. - Provide replacement equipment or parts following breakdown, subject to authorisation by the Purchaser at all times. Lot 1: The SPS will commence this procurement in good faith with the intention of awarding a contract.
