Dundee City Council is seeking to engage the services of a Fire Engineering Consultant to prepare fire strategy drawings and carry out a technical appraisal and report on the condition and method of installation of fire dampers within various Dundee City Council properties. Lot 1: Dundee City Council Architectural Services Department is seeking to engage the services of a Fire Engineering Consultant to prepare fire strategy drawings and carry out a technical appraisal and report on the condition and method of installation of fire dampers within various Dundee City Council properties. This will assist with the assessment and potential reconfiguring / replacement of fire dampers within the ventilation systems of various council buildings. It will also assist in the preparation of a stage 4 report which will be submitted to the Property Department to allow them to prioritise and plan for the remedial works required. Evidence will be requested of experience in creating retrospective fire strategies under the Scottish Regulatory System, utilising a combination of historical and current non-domestic fire safety guidance.
