Tender description

Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation (BITMO) has 166 planters in total around the estate. An estimated 130 of these are to be part of a future tender for a contractor to maintain them, including: remove weeds, prune existing shrubs, dig over the soil, add fertiliser, add spring and summer bulbs and perennials that provide colour and interest, install weed membrane and mulch. Services to be covered below: Remove dead foliage and spent plants. Litter picking. Prune to shape. Remove waste and tip. Check planters for structural damage and carry out repairs. Add slow release fertiliser / compost. Plant sprint bulbs 60 per square metre. Plant summer flowering perennials such as Osteospermum 9 per square metre. Apply 3 inches bark chip mulch. Watering in.
