Tender description

Works will be carried out on Quaybawn Bridge which is located outside Killorglan in Co.Kerry. This is a large project and it is essential that it is completed in the 2025 IFI Instream Works Window. Only contractors that can complete the works in this window are asked to submit bids. The Works shall consist of the scope of works shown on the drawings and specifications including: • Site set-up and traffic management; • Site clearance and security; • Removal of vegetation on approach walls, deck, and parapets; • Removal of loose pointing and repointing of piers, abutments, and approach walls • Localised masonry repairs; • Demolishment of span 1 to span 7 and replacement with precast, prestressed beams with an insitu topping • Watermain installation works; • Removal of soft verges and replacement with concrete rubbing strips. • Act as PSCS for the construction works.
