Provision of specialist courier for shipping of clinical trial materials to clinical centres in the UK and worldwide Lot 1: The university is looking for a validated vendor for the shipping of clinical trial materials to clinical centres in the UK and worldwide. The supplier must be able to provide advice on international shipping including review of shipping documentation, deep frozen (<-65oC), frozen (-15 - -25ºC) , refrigerated (2-8ºC) and controlled ambient (15-25ºC) shipments with qualified shippers, facilities and depots to ensure temperature is maintained under control storage throughout shipping with temperature logger data provided with full audit trail. A risk assessment of the followed route is also required. As part of the qualification criteria, the supplier must have a Wholesale Distribution Authorisation (WDA) demonstrating that medicines are stored and distributed according to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) standards to maintain quality and safety and be open to our audit of Quality Management System.
