Newspaper License Agreement

Tender description

This is a below threshold direct award to NLA Media Access Limited (Company number 03003569) who are the sole provider Nationally to provide this license which is a legal requirement for the organisation to have. License agreement to cover all Mid and South Essex staff to make occasional copies for internal management, from all NLA publications which includes content from around 1,400 different newspapers, magazines, and online website content. Copying includes hard and digital formats from both print and online sources. The value is below the £30,000 to publish notices but for transparency the organisation has decided to publish a contract award in Contracts Finder as per directs under Procurement Act 2023 (below threshold contracts). The license agreement commences on 8th August 2025 for a period of 12 months as per license conditions.
