Market Engagement - Environmental Testing Services

Tender description

ScotRail are looking to conduct market engagement to understand the capabilities of potential suppliers prior to an upcoming tender for the provision of environmental testing services at various ScotRail Depots and ISFE locations. This may include but is not limited to the testing of effluent interceptors, fuel storage tanks, LEV, coolant, carriage wash plants effluent discharge, train drinking water points, and diesel exhaust fumes as well as the provision of specialist technical support and any ad-hoc services required. The procurement activity will commence in mid-2025, with the intent to award a contract in late 2025. It is envisaged this requirement will have a duration of 3 years will an optional 24-month extension on two separate occasions to a maximum term of 7 years Lot 1: SRT requires a Service Provider (SP) to provide Environmental Monitoring, Testing and Analysis Services. These services will include periodic testing and audits in conformance with the ScotRail’s Environmental Management Plan. The SP will provide environmental testing to four separate areas of SRT operations. The first is the depot testing service, the operations site testing, the ISFE locations and on train testing services. On train testing refers to All ScotRail operated fleet testing.
