Provide independent, impartial up-to-date advice and support to householders from an experienced provider in the Bedford Borough Council area. Advice ranges from helping customers to save energy and money on their fuel bills, reduce their carbon footprints through behavioural changes, switching tariffs to signposting to energy efficiency home upgrade schemes. This includes provision of advice services as well as marketing and delivery costs to meet target numbers, and distributing the medium-measures grant. The aim of the service is improving health and wellbeing whilst reducing the occurrence of fuel poverty and excess winter deaths across Bedford Borough.
