Cornwall Council is seeking to appoint an external evaluator to support the in-house team in carrying out monitoring and evaluation for the Experience project. Experience is a Cornwall Council project that encourages a resilient year-round visitor economy. Over the last 2 years, the in-house team have monitored the project’s on-going impact by collecting a mix of data that has included footfall, dwell time, visitor numbers, economic impact, perception and satisfaction. Experience is looking to appoint an evaluation specialist to review the existing evaluation methods, help shape the evaluation strategy for 2025-27 and carry out the yearly evaluation report in line with the funder requirements. Using information provided by the external agencies, the appointed supplier will assess and measure the project’s impact and identify key learnings for future projects.
