Tender description
The School of Chemistry are looking to procure a high-sensitivity Thermal Conductivity Detector (TCD) suitable for detecting a wide range of gases, including corrosive ones. It should provide real-time monitoring with accurate gas concentration measurement capabilities. Built-in mass flow controllers must ensure precise control of carrier and reactant gas flows, with the ability to handle multiple gas streams with high accuracy and repeatability. The system should incorporate multiple independently controlled temperature zones to maintain stable and consistent temperature conditions for precise thermal management. It must feature multiple inlets to accommodate flexible experimental setups. Moreover, the integrated vapor generator is essential for maintaining precise vapor pressure control, ensuring accurate sample introduction. A high-temperature furnace capable of reaching up to 1100 ºC is required, providing a uniform heating profile for consistent sample processing. The equipment must support various catalyst characterization methods, including BET, TPD, TPO, and TPR, with built-in software methods for automated execution.
