Prior Information Notice – For the Provision of Various Goods to the Coast Guard (IRCG) over 2025

This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) and not a call for competition; a call for competition may be placed within the calendar year 2025. In advance of a call for competition the Department of Transport may invite submissions from companies and organisations with expertise and capability relating to the provision of the following Goods to the Coast Guard (IRCG) listed in this Notice. As part of this PMC process the Department of Transport may take market soundings to identify market capabilities, supply cost factor and general market dynamics by way of publication of a separate Request for Information (RFI). This process is a statement of potential contracts during the calendar year 2025 but is not a commitment to purchase. Details of individual procurements pursuant to this notice will be advertised in due course. The Department of Transport does not require a response to this Prior Information Notice. Included Goods: 1. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) uniforms. 2. Replacement of existing Chromebooks for volunteers. 3. Internal communications system for new Search and Rescue (SAR) Vessels (RHIBs and D.Class). 4. Router replacement. 5. Search and Rescue (SAR) Vessel Fleet Renewal: D.Class and RHIBs. 6. Dry Suit Maintenance. 7. Replacement of current system; Design, development, implementation, and support of a replacement Volunteer Management system (VIMS) platform; A web site or GUI for CG volunteers providing service information, certifications, e-courses, and learning management as well as training requirements by function. 8. Boat Operations Software; Track real time status of boats, facilities, crew and support teams. 9. Identity and Access Management (IAM) system.
