The Council has invested strategically in Microsoft M365 licencing which supports service delivery. The licences are essential due to the comprehensive suite of tools and software they provide which enhance operational efficiency and productivity. The M365 licences comprises Outlook email, Microsoft Office products, SharePoint data storage, Microsoft Teams and a range of other software tools and security products. These Microsoft products are key in supporting the Council run its business. The route to market was a direct award from Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Gcloud14 to Microsoft Limited for Microsoft Unified Advanced Support. Microsoft Limited are the only supplier able to provide support for these Microsoft products.
