Supply and installation of optical tables for the Rosenberg Quantum Labs

Six optical tables are sought by the Department of Physics to furnish our new Rosenberg Quantum Labs Lot 1: The Department of Physics at the University of Strathclyde is seeking to furnish its new Rosenberg Quantum Laboratory with six optical tables. Due to specific requirements, the tables must meet the following requirements: - Six optical tables - Four table of size 2.4m * 1.5m surface and 12” (300mm) thick. - Two table of size 3m * 1.5m surface and 12” (300mm) thick. - Top surface to have an approximately 5-mm thick stainless-steel skin - Top surface to have tapped M6 metric holes. - Tapped holes to be sealed. - Optical table is to be passively damped, with broadband and tuned damping - Optical table supports consisting of four separate support legs, without interconnecting bars. - Supports to set a table height of 90cm from the floor. - Table supports to be pneumatic and with automatic releveling. Please note that delivery and installation will be to Level 4 labs of the John Anderson Building. Level 4 has direct access from road and does not require use of, or access to, lift or stairs..
