Tender description

Plymouth Community Homes is in the process of rehoming residents from Marlborough House, an existing 13-storey building consisting of 121 flats. Plymouth Community Homes Board has approved the replacement of Marlborough House with 148 new build flats for social rent within a building of similar height. The block should be fully decanted during late 2027 and the intention at this point is to let a demolition and new build JCT Design and Build contract through a 2-stage procurement process, subject to advice from the project Employers Agent. This will be the first consultant appointment for the project, and we will be seeking specialist advice on the procurement of the consultant project team and contractor selection process bearing in mind the nature of the project.
