Tender description

As part of Cranfield University’s ongoing decarbonisation process, it intends to install a ground (water) source heat pump (GSHP) served by a borehole field with solar thermal and data centre heat recovery.<br /><br />The ground source heat pump and associated plant and equipment to be in a bespoke building supplied and installed as part of the project.<br /><br />The borehole field will be located on the University owned agricultural land south of the active airfield. Solar thermal located on purpose made supports and local existing roofs. Data centre heat recovery from a local source by others. <br /><br />This specification details the University’s minimum requirement for a Contractor to provide a ‘turnkey’ solution to supply, install and set to work this new facility. <br /><br />
