Tender description

SLC require to procure a 12 month agreement with an option to extend for 12 months contract for MongoDB and Atlas Support. Mongo DB is a range of databases that we use to store data within several of SLC's dev, test, and production systems including the Assess Platform, Digital Repayment Portals, Course Management Service, SLC Notify, Disable Student Allowance E-Invoicing System. These systems are used by SLC stakeholders to manage our business processes and without the licences to use MongoDB several of SLC's critical systems would no longer function resulting in the company being unable to process applications for student finance. As a potential option - MongoDB offers a RAM pool-based Enterprise Advanced (EA) license for on-premises deployments, which is designed for organizations that want to optimize the cost of running MongoDB across multiple servers. All interested parties must register on https://www.delta-esourcing.com. The closing date and time for registering interest shall be 12 noon Friday 25th April. Please contact Kenneth McKay to formally log interest. 24 April 2025 SLC announce after a technical review the requirement shall no longer be for MongoDB and Atlas Support and shall be concentrating on MongoDB RAM pool-based Enterprise Advanced (EA). All interested parties must also be registered upon the Delta Esourcing portal as well as CCS GCloud 14.
