***THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE TO CONCLUDE THE PRE-COMMERCIAL PROCUREMENT OF THE COMPETITION DETAILED BELOW. THIS IS NOT A NEW COMPETITION. THE COMPETITION WAS ADVERTISED AND THE CONTRACT HAS BEEN AWARDED.*** This Pre-commercial Procurement (PCP) competition was funded by the Chief Science Office (CSO), the Scottish Government Directorate for Children and Families and the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow and Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity for a Phase 2 Demonstration Project R&D contract to develop innovative solution that focus on near-patient bilirubin testing to develop innovative care pathways and enable family centred care at home for babies who do not require to be in hospital. The total value of the procurement is 79,972 GBP which includes any VAT. ***THIS IS AN AWARD NOTICE TO CONCLUDE THE PRE-COMMERCIAL PROCUREMENT OF THE COMPETITION DETAILED BELOW. THIS IS NOT A NEW COMPETITION. CONTRACTS HAVE BEEN AWARDED BETWEEN THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT AND NHS GOLDEN JUBILEE.** The Contract is between NHS Golden Jubilee and winning participant. The aim of this award is to provide an opportunity for the organisation to work in partnership with NHS Scotland, to develop a disruptive innovative solution. The solution will focus on the monitoring of jaundiced new-borns at home. The solution will focus on near-patient bilirubin testing to develop innovative care pathways and enable family centred care at home for babies who do not require to be in hospital. The Contract has be given to successful applicant. Any adoption and implementation of a solution from this competition would be subject to a separate, possibly competitive, procurement exercise. This competition does not cover the purchase of any solution.
