Tender description

The aim of the Centre of Environmental Biotechnology+ project is to support the transformation of the North Wales regional economy by developing a state of the art microbial culture scale up facility. This project will explore the use of biological processes as low carbon alternatives to products and industrial manufacturing processes. Bangor University is looking to purchase 1 large bioreactor with steam generator and 2 smaller bioreactors. Lot 1: Large Bioreactor with Steam Generator Bioreactor for cultivation of e.coli combined with integral steamer unit and chiller unit. Total volume of 300L with working volume capacity of between 35L and 200L. Further details available within the specification document Lot 2: Small Bioreactors 1L to 3L Total Volume with a min/max working volume 200 ml to 2L. for Batch, Fed-Batch, Perfusion and Continuous cultivation
