Safe & Together Model Implementation - RESPECT

Bedford Borough Council are seeking to Direct Award the sum of £69,950 + 2.5% Constellia fees to RESPECT for them to support Bedford Borough Children’s Services in implementing the Safe & Together Model of working with Children & Families experiencing domestic abuse. The initial contract will be for 1 year from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2026. If the works carried out in year 1 are satisfactory and progress is evidenced, then there would be an option to extend the contract for a further year. • RESPECT will support Bedford Borough Council Children’s Services to implement the Safe & Together Model through promoting the model, enlisting staff onto the training and delivering training, carrying out consultations, conducting case file audits, building a champions network to improve systems and process related to VAWG. • RESPECT will make available in the initial contract year a mixture of online and face to face, 75 spaces for introduction training sessions (1 day) and 50 spaces for Core training (4 days). Carry out additional bespoke workshops on topics such as Documentation, Working with Perpetrators, and Intersections and Intersectionality’s. • RESPECT will report back to Bedford Borough Council quarterly on the progress made including number of staff who have signed up to the training, successfully completed their training and case audit findings.
