Tender description

This project is for a single partner to provide data centre infrastructure services (DCIS). The scope of the contract covers services needed to support NRIL’s data centre infrastructure hosted within data centers, LAN/Edge compute rooms and Cloud Platforms. It includes networks (LAN and WAN), platforms, mainframe, servers, specified applications including tools and services required to effectively operate the infrastructure. Lot 1: The key objective of this project and sourcing event is to provide better value for money from improved efficiencies and service performance through: • greater cost transparency • development and implementation of a single operating model • optimised service model aligned with best practice • consolidation of multiple service contracts and thereby minimise duplicated effort • clearer Service ownership and improved Delivery • alignment of incentives with objectives. • reducing interfaces and touchpoints while making best use of technical tools and operational resources. • reduced organisational complexity and interface volumes • allow for demand growth within NRIL over the term Network Rail DDaT is pleased to hosting Pre-Market Engagement Supplier Event.
