Grounds Maintenance - Preliminary Market Engagement

The University are hosting a Pre-Market engagement event for the re-procurement for the provision of Grounds Maintenance services:<br /><br />The contract comprises the management and maintenance of Cardiff University’s green spaces and associated facilities, including the following categories of land: <br />• Academic building curtilage, open spaces, natural sites, sports facility curtilage. <br />• Student Main Residencies and Student Houses’ enclosed gardens <br />• Access roads, car parks and pathways <br />• Areas of special environmental interest <br />The University are hosting an In-person, supplier and sector engagement event on Thursday 10th April 2025, 2- 3pm at:<br /><br />Lecture Theatre 0.07<br />Hayden Ellis Building<br />Maindy Road<br />Cardiff<br />CF24 4HQ<br /><br />The objectives for the event are;<br />a. Gauge and generate interest around the contract opportunity <br />b. To gain an understanding of your experience of similar contracts, incorporating any lessons learnt to drive improvements<br />c. To listen, reflect and mitigate any foreseeable risks within the proposed contract tender exercise to ensure that the service delivered at Cardiff University remains customer centric, efficient and offers value for money.<br /><br /><br />In order to register your attendance and for more information please register your interest against the opportunity via Cardiff University e-tendering portal: In-Tend <br />https://in-tendhost.co.uk/cardiffuniversity/ <br /><br />Suppliers interested in attending the supplier engagement event must send an expression of interest via the In-Tend Portal. Once registered please complete the registration form and return via the correspondence function within the system.<br /><br />Suppliers will be limited to 2 attendees. The deadline for registering attendance at the event is Tuesday 8th April 2025 – 12 Noon. The University reserves the right to reject an application to attend sent after this time.<br /><br />All presentation documentation, questions and answers will be published against the opportunity on the Portal following the event.<br />
