Compartmentation Survey ▪ Assessment: Evaluating the condition of compartmentation and identifying any defects in line with British Standards, Approved Document B, RRFSO 2015, and any site-specific fire strategy information. ▪ Visual Inspection: Conducting a thorough visual inspection of existing fire compartmentation provisions, including floors, walls, roof voids, basements, floor and ceiling voids, risers, and shafts. ▪ Fire Stopping Survey: Identifying individual breaches in compartmentation. ▪ Action Plan: Providing a clear action plan that outlines defect locations, includes photographic evidence, and suggests remedial actions. ▪ Fire Door Survey: Identifying any defects with existing fire doors. ▪ Detailed Mark-Ups: Creating retrospective detailed mark-ups of existing floor plans, indicating the locations of compartment walls and floors (if building-specific fire strategy drawings are not present). Compartmentation Survey Outputs: Our report will review the existing condition and adequacy of the fire compartmentation measures and, where necessary, recommend improvements to ensure your buildings comply with statutory requirements and best practice guidance, or to meet specific business resilience objectives. Our Compartmentation Survey Outputs Comprise: ▪ Annotated plans of each floor of your building showing the lines of compartmentation. ▪ Details of each compartmentation breach, hole, and imperfection identified, with suggested repair details. ▪ Identification of any obvious fire hazards or risks.
