Tender description

MAST-U Arc Load Resistors Lot 1: The UK Atomic Energy Authority has a requirement to complete the design based on customers requirements and existing outline design, supply and factory testing of 120 high-power inconel tubed water cooled resistors of nominal 0.8 to 1.0 ohms for use within an existing assembly design on a MAST-U Neutral Beam Injector Heating System. The resistors will need to instantaneous absorb 4.5kW for 10s every 2 minutes. The Authority is looking for potential suppliers who have the capability to undertake the work and are interested in tendering for our requirement.
