This notice serves as an early announcement to inform potential suppliers about the upcoming tender opportunity. Argyll and Bute Council are looking to contract with a an experienced operator for removal of waste from council facility on the island of Islay to locations in Central Belt. Argyll & Bute Council intends to initiate a procurement process to appoint an experienced operator for the removal of waste from a Council facility on island of Islay to location in the Central Belt, these location will be confirmed on issue of main tender. Contract Duration: The contract duration will be for a period of 3 years from May 2024 with a possible option to extend for a further 1 year, subject to satisfactory performance of the contract. Procurement Procedure: We intend to conduct a competitive open procurement procedure via PCS with all additional documents made available in the subsequent invitation to tender. Participation: Interested parties are invited to express their interest in participating in the forth-coming tender process. This PIN is not a formal invitation to tender but serves as an early announcement for the market and to gauge the market interest in the upcoming procedure.
