GMC1717 Decompression Facilitator support and accreditation

Tender description

In fulfilling our role as a regulatory body, the majority of GMC teams interact with two key groups; doctors and patients. These interactions can be face-to-face, by telephone or in writing and can often be challenging. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, we are regularly in contact with individuals who are vulnerable, distressed or have mental health conditions. We have acknowledged that a number of our teams work in critical occupations, and whilst providing a vital role we are aware of the critical pressure exerted on the psychological wellbeing of our people in these roles. We are therefore looking to expand our decompression training and facilitator offering as part of this tender to support the organisation.
