Tender description

The aim of this Market Consultation is to • Inform and encourage potentially interested parties of the Train Protection System – National Rollout Trackside, and • Obtain reaction and soundings from interested participants in the market. The purpose of this Market Consultation document is to provide prospective candidates with background information on the intended nature, structure and scope of the Train Protection System (TPS) – Trackside National Rollout (NRO) Project and to seek feedback that will help Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) in developing its understanding of how the market might receive a procurement to design, supply, install, integrate, test and commission trackside equipment for ETCS Level 1 system onto IÉ’s existing Railway infrastructure, and enter into a separate long term maintenance and support contract for the installed system
