This procurement will support Children’s Services to provide a range of youth work programmes for children and young people aged 10-19, and up to 25 for young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND), that meets the Mayor’s priorities for young people and Statutory duties under Section 507B of the Education and Inspections Act. Lot 6: Culturally Specific - Various Young Hackney is seeking 1 contract for providers to deliver a range of interpersonal and intercultural activities and programmes across the London Borough of Hackney. We are looking for a wide and varied programme linked to young people’s exploration of self within the various culturally specific communities of Hackney, including the Muslim, Turkish/Kurdish, African, Caribbean, and Southeast Asian communities (with providers who address the various nuances within all of these communities).
