SUPPLY CHAIN NOTICE: FUEL BOWSER REPLACEMENT

Tender description

We require a new asset to be procured that will have the primary role to dispense diesel but must be compatible to dispense HVO. We are interested in finding a solution that will: a. Be of a fuel type that supports the Portsmouth Naval Base Net Zero strategy such as electric or other. b. Have capability of electronically recording receiving and dispensing data to support the Energy Burea ETS submissions and the PNB NZC strategy, for example through an onboard system where the data can be retrieved. c. Have a capacity of at least 6000 litres. d. Must come with hoses and equipment for operation and meet legislation compliance. e. Be of a size and gross weight fully laden that will allow access to all areas for refuelling generators etc. Max 10 Tonne. f. The solution will operate in a marine environment therefore must have sufficient environmental protection. g. The nozzle must have a locking mechanism or similar that controls the flow and a valve to prevent overspill. h. Expandable hosing system to maximize access. i.
