NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Procurement Unit are issuing this Prior Information Notice on behalf of NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICB who are seeking engagement with the market in relation to the provision of Assisted Conception services in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. Lot 1: NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICB are conducting this initial engagement exercise to establish potential interest to deliver Assisted Conception Services in the area.<br/><br/>Potentially interested parties are invited to feedback their comments with regard to their interest, capacity, capability and readiness in delivering these services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.<br/><br/>Assisted reproduction is when a person or couple get pregnant (conceive) with the assistance of medical intervention (treatment). Examples of assisted reproduction are:-<br/>• In vitro fertilisation (IVF) <br/>• IVF with intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)<br/>• Intrauterine insemination (IUI) <br/>The different treatments available can involve the use of donated eggs and sperm.<br/><br/>Full details of the service are set out in the Specification within Annex 2.<br/><br/>Commissioners wish to understand;<br/><br/>1) Organisation name<br/>2) Organisation contact details<br/>3) Are you currently providing Assisted Conception Services? If you are a private provider, are you providing services under an NHS Contract with an NHS Commissioner or NHS Trust? <br/>If so, please state which Commissioner / Trust your contract is with and provide contract start and end dates?<br/>4) Are you interested in providing Assisted Conception Services in Worcestershire under a contract with NHS Herefordshire & Worcestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB)? (yes/no)<br/>5) Are you interested in providing Assisted Conception Services in Herefordshire under a contract with NHS Herefordshire & Worcestershire Integrated Care Board (ICB)? (yes/no)<br/>6) What type of services do you currently deliver, and in which areas?<br/>7) Are you currently located within a 30 mile radius to either Herefordshire or Worcestershire or both?<br/>8) Please confirm whether you will work within the local tariff price; attached as Annex 4. (yes/no) <br/><br/><br/>Providers are requested to answer these questions within the Atamis requirements section when registering interest <br/>(via https://health-family.force.com/s/Welcome ref C244262) by 17:00 hours on Friday 8th March 2024.<br/><br/>Interested providers who demonstrate capacity, capability and readiness may receive the follow up Selection Questionnaire in full and the questions relating to the key criteria as described in PSR Regulation Part 1 no5.<br/><br/>NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire ICB is not bound to follow any particular PSR process at this stage.<br/><br/>Responding to this EOI will not guarantee providers further involvement in any PSR process the ICB decides to follow. The ICB welcomes feedback on the proposed specification for this service, but is not obliged to rely on provider information given in response to this request for expressions of interest.
